Hi all!
I’m Skylar Larsen, and I am working on my PhD in Astronomy at Cornell University after completing my B.S. in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at MIT. My current specialty is characterizing exoplanets with TESS, the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite.
One of my favorite topics is weird exoplanet transit data and the diversity of exoplanets which that data implies. Join us as we discuss the history of exoplanet detection, examine fun quirks in real exoplanet transit data, and share resources for ground-based and spaced-based exoplanet observing!
